ABOUT REMNANT:
REMNANT Expressive Signing Team is a team of teens, college students and adults, from different churches, schools and areas. Using ASL (American Sign Language), we sign the words to Christian and Patriotic music while lip-synching the words. We add a great deal of expression and some dance. We come together to bring honor and glory to God, traveling in and out of Ohio, signing for churches, our military, schools, weddings, funerals, reunions, and events, all for free.
We sponsor and host two annual events. The first is an Easter program where we tell the story from Creation to current day, according to God's Word, through expressive signing, Contemporary Christian music, and drama. This program is unique and unlike any you've seen.
The second is "Freedom's Never Free", an annual appreciation celebration for our veterans, military and their families. Although our main focus is on our military, we include firefighters, law enforcement, and their families. Afterall, they are our first line of defense. The event is free to all and the public are encouraged to come join us in showing their support of our brave men, women and their families who sacrifice so much for all of us. "America is the Home of the Free because of the Brave", and although we can never thank our country's heroes enough or as they deserve, this is a start.
Additionally, we make an annual trip to Virginia Beach where we sign at various military bases for our troops and their families, as well as, the beachfront war memorial. We are blessed to spend time with our troops and their families, hear first-hand why they joined the military, where they've been deployed, their experiences, hear the hearts of their spouses and children, and through it all, although our goal is be a blessing to them, we ALWAYS come back being the ones blessed the most.
We thank God for the opportunities He give us and allowing us to represent Him.
We thank our veterans, military and their families, for the sacrifices they've made and make for all of us, every day.
